HIDDEN GEMS AMMONITE AWARD

Our magnificent Hidden Gems Award will be determined by the audience. The viewers will select a movie that displays the Best Hidden Gem Quality. It can be a cinematic technique, a theme or the artistry of an actor or a director. You have to select a movie as the winner. This year at Cardel Theatre, we discussed the films with the help of Louis B. Hobson. We have complete faith in our viewers' discerning powers.

You, the viewers will critically evaluate the movies. Think of it as a film appreciation workshop. Isn't that why you come to Hidden Gems? Since films are a representation of life, by extension, maybe you'll take a critical look at life around you, discern an anomaly and put it right. We would appreciate everyone voting. Your partner cannot vote for you. After all you each paid admission.

You may vote in two ways: a)Vote For Every Movie that you watch, on a three point scale-1. Like it 2. Love it 3. WOW

First choice is self-explanatory. Second one indicates that you love it so much that you'd watch it again. Lastly, you love it of course, and cannot find any fault with it, and most importantly cannot think of any way to improve it, then it is definitely a WOW! Beware, we humans tend not to give top marks to anything. Be daring, and give a WOW if it deservs it. b) Secondly, on the day of your last visit to the festival, you may choose your Favourite Movie of the festival.

We will tally the results of the individual movie ballots. Add to it the results from the Favourite Movie ballot and determine the winner. A Festival Pass for 2012 will be awarded to one lucky winner.
